...

July 2025...

Yes, just happened to search some ideas to communicate with my dance students...

So many years already passed...

After the beginning of my "sole trader" in April 2016 to give Tahitian Dance Classes, lots of things happened (and no, i will not talked about the pandemic... ;) even if it changed many things in life like for everybody.)

In 2017, i gave some technics classes in an 'Ori Tahiti Association (not my previous group) first for adults, then helped for the children classes too.

I also began to work in many elemantary schools, teaching infographics, crafting arts, drama, a bit of music too for the after school activities. From January 2017 to june 2022 ! wow 5 years... i just realised!

Well...

In 2018, i began my first official season as 'Ori Tahiti teacher in the Association Culturelle & Sportive de la Polle at Cherbourg.

And till then... i'm still teaching!
I started with 5 students and this season, they were 44!!! Each year the number increased and im grateful for all this! Teaching also a bit music and of coruse weaving. It's a part of the cursus of a 'Ori Tahiti dancer. You learn dance but to make your outfits too.

Well... i will not talked about everythings in details... too many things happend in almost 10 years! ^^

But here it is. I'm now officially a 'Ori Tahiti Teacher.

Even if sometimes i'm a bit overhelmed (dealing with a depression at the same time for about 5 years now...) i know that right now, i'm at a right place.
I'm watching my students growing up not only as dancers but also as human being.
I don't know where this path is leading me, but i'm really growing up each year thanks to this amazing culture and all of my students! (some days i admit, i want to quit... because when you are a hypersensitive like me and kind of shy... reticent... giving classes is an every time challenge! ;) But it's also this way i'm improving and i love to create... i'm a little bit too crazy sometimes, but my students are still here... ;) so i think it's not too bad ^^

(if in the past, as my main occupation at home since i began figure skating at 6yo, was to imagine creating show on ice, making choreographies on each musics i was listening, sketching some outfits too... so If someone had told me in the past that today I would be where I am...i would have laugh! I'm now doing all this, not in ice skating - even if i already did some too! - but in 'Ori Tahiti! For real!
